Helloooo! It's me...anybody there????

Please accept my apologies for being MIA for oh...3 (or so) months...ahhh...my fingers are getting comfy on the keys again..

I have been checking in with my fave bloggies...but have been paralyzed by the holidays...and all things wonderful with our sweet boys... we started Sam on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet on October 26th...no sugar..no flour..no chocolate (that one only applied to me)..(i was doing it too...and was successful for a month until i was run over by the Thanksgiving bandwagon..and backed over...hello cornbread stuffing!!)

Sam has done very well...and we are now introducing new foods to him!! We call her Betty Bootcamp....(she's me..) but she was here this summer with Myles..and he will now eat what is put before him... so she's back...and this time it is Sammy's turn!

He has eaten homemade fried chicken fillets (fried in olive oil with Panko bread crumbs and my special seasonings..) for the past 3 nights...last night he actually used his fork...no spitting out...no assistance.(i will spare us all the details on that..)

he also ate cucumber slices...now mind you...this boy has been eating banana pancakes and bananas (and a few other things)

for 2 months..and before that, he only wanted waffles, bagels, bread, pasta (ziti type) and his fave bananas...

this week...he tries tiny meatballs...

they are so yummy...i hope he likes them right away..if not...

he will eventually... (That Betty is wicked!!)

Myles is doing so good...loves spelling now..ofcourse, he knows

ELEPHANT!!!!.. and he is transitioning beautifully from one task to another...Christmas was so much fun..it took so long to open up the gifts...our kids aren't tear-right-into-every-package-kiddos....it was...the llll-ong-est OT session ever...but beautiful...and we feel so very blessed to share every single detail with them....so observant....and the pace was just what we needed to patiently soak it all up...I hope you all had a Blessed Christmas and a Welcomed New Year!

I am busy crafting away...just a few Valentinies this year...

But lots of super sweet surprises for the spring!!!
