Snow Day!!

Oh yummy wonderful, only snow and no ice day!!

I could not believe all of the snow..

i know this is not as much as most of the country normally gets..but we are usually looking for ice only and just a dusting of snow.. I can't stand ice...but snow...lovely snow...

like a beautifully iced cake..


even Sam, our happiest in his underwear only kid, got decked out in as many layers as possible and ventured out!!

i was inside whipping up some mittens ...

his fingers were nearly frozen...

ahh...homemade warmth...(repurposed felted sweater..)

the thumbs were a little too skinny...but they did the trick!
